In the Elder Futhark, Raido is the rune of the journey—a symbol of movement, growth, and the paths we walk in life. It reminds us that every step, whether planned or unexpected, is part of a greater purpose. Yet, in today’s world, society often tries to dictate what a "worthy" journey looks like, making many of us feel unworthy of our own unique paths. 

Raido embodies the rhythm of life, the flow of experiences, and the understanding that movement—both physical and spiritual—is essential for growth. In Norse tradition, it represents the act of travel, whether across landscapes or within the depths of the soul. It is a reminder that progress isn’t always linear and that sometimes detours with unexpected twists that still leads us to exactly where we want to be (even when we can't see it).

We live in a world that tends to push conformity, telling us which paths are acceptable and which are not. Whether it’s career expectations, social norms, religious practices and more, stepping outside these so called “norms” can feel daunting, even traumatizing (as our true paths tend to create a feeling of loss- loss of people, places and experiences that used to feel aligned and no longer do). But Raido teaches us that the journey itself holds value, regardless of outside judgment and perceived sense of loss. Choosing to honor your own direction, even when it defies convention, is an act of courage and self-worth.

At the heart of what I create is the belief that everyone is worthy of their own path. This stems from years of losing myself trying to please everyone else- society, my family, my customers. Selling what was trending, what they told me to make, etc until you couldn't see me in my business anymore. My ideas, my designs, my path, all felt empty. With lots of shadow work I have been stripping away the masks, the layers of who I was told to be by everyone. The ideas that I believed that I was for years. That trauma really causes blurred lines huh? 

Because I tie my journey directly to feeling worthy I felt like the Raido rune was perfect within our logo. It serves as a reminder to myself as much as everyone else that the journey belongs to you alone, not society, not your family, not social media. Raido’s energy is woven into every piece, encouraging those who wear them, display them, or use them in their practice to walk boldly in their own truth. The jewelry, charms, and mystical supplies I offer are meant to serve as reminders of that truth. Just as no two journeys are the same, no two orders from my shop arrive in identical packaging—each is wrapped with care, reflecting the chaotic beauty of embracing individuality and sustainability.

Your journey is valid. Your path is worthy. No matter how many voices try to tell you otherwise. Raido reminds us that movement, change, and self-discovery are part of our purpose.
