Mushroom detailing is not pewter.
Can be held, laid down, stood up or hung. Please note that is a tad heavy for hanging and might require bracing.
Frame is 6 inches by 5 inches.

What is a scrying mirror?

Scrying mirrors are used to look into past lives, the past, the present, or the future. Much in a similar way to tarot or rune casting.
Unlike in either of those disciplines however, the reading is based on the focus of the reader, not in the tool itself.
Used as a focus tool the black surface of the mirror can reveal to its reader images and clairvoyant visions that are then read much in the same way as dream interpretation.
One of its most famous known users was Nostradamus, who used a scrying mirror or darkened pool as preferred methods of reading future events.
****Remember to keep it covered when not in use, and also to not allow others to look into its surface as it will confuse the ongoing relationship between the mirror and user.
You can also uncover it to charge it beneath a full moon, similar to charging crystals
